I have a use case requiring that we retroactively scan all documents printed, copied or scanned at an MFP for PII.

While in most cases, these documents will be printed from Windows computers on the network. We also want to track documents when someone scans or copies them while physically standing at the MFP.

It doesn't have to work this way, but I was hoping there would be a way to export the scanned, printed, copied image from the MFP to a file share so that we can capture all instances and incorporate this PII check into our OCR platform.

At the moment, the goal isn't to prevent people from being able to print documents. Instead, it is to be able to retroactively detect any documents scanned, printed or copied containing PII.

Does anyone know of a way to accomplish this? We have a mixture of Ricoh and Sharp MFPs.
