People hate having passwords for numerous apps on their phone. I want to create an e-Commerce app with some social features like following friends, so I was thinking to replace the passwords and instead use the phone numbers/email for a OTP to verify. Then allow them to create a profile. Incase they get logged out, then we will send them an OTP to relogin. Since most social apps use a password mechanism I was unsure whether using an OTP only will create any issues?
