Same question is asked for More secure to use e.g. Whatsapp Web in Franz than in browser? [closed].

On its answer it is said that:

No, Franz is not inherently more secure than a regular browser.

In an ordinary web application the impact of this XSS flaw would have been restricted to that particular domain, but in a desktop application it endangers the host itself.

On the answer's comment Rambox.pro is mentioned as an alternative. But as mentioned in the comments:

Rambox.pro is not open source, only the Rambox Community Edition

Hence there is its open source version of Rambox where someone forked it. (The Fork, called Hamsket: https://github.com/TheGoddessInari/rambox )

==> I was wondering would open version of Rambox is secure to use like a regular browser or their native clients? or does it have any security flaws like Franz has? With additional tools such as Firejail can I make Rambox more secure?

    I’m voting to close this question because it essentially asks for a product evaluation. Apart from that the product itself does not even mention better security as one of the features so it is unlikely that it does provide better security. And Rambox.pro is not open source as you claim, only the Rambox Community Edition. – Steffen Ullrich Jul 19 '20 at 15:44
