When I have looked back a few posts I noticed many posts about rocket launchers with explosive warheads and such. In none of them did I notice anyone mentioning Aerotech composite motors which one can buy up to g80 without certification or Nakka's homemade motors made out of pvc and simple hand tools up to I-560. I have personally made Nakka's motors and used Aerotech motors and I damn sure that they would propel a useful charge of HE to their target. I found the PVC motors to be very reliable and incredibly powerful. I have measured the thrust on the amateur rocket motors and found them very consistent with Nakka's test results. So... if you're thinking of dreaming up an RPG, i'd definately recommend those as the motor.

I bought a hobby rocket engine, it is small, 6 cm long, 1,5 cm diameter. I made a rocket with it but instead of parachute i put acetone peroxide(some grams). I haven't launched it yet. I can't test it in the town....

Examine a sectional photo of a RPG-8 round. The system is more complecated than a warhead+motor system. The round is propelled from the launcher, by a primary charge, to a distance safe to the gunner. At that time a setback ignited delay ignites the rocket motor which is front-vented by multiple nozzels. The motors proposed for expedient RPG's might not be applicable.
