A couple of people have told me or asked me not to release this pdf, I can see their points and all but what do you think? I will be releasing it/not releasing it based on the opionions posted here. I have worked on this pdf for ages so it would be a shame to see it not released. If any mods want to see the pdf to give me advice on it please contact me some how and I will arrange for it to me emailed or set up another xmail account.

This topic has also been on my mind some time ago. I think the best compromise would be to only give out the PDF file on demand, so you can decide who gets it and who doesn't. That should already deter 50% of the kewls because it's too much work to ask, but those who can use the information in a sensible manner will go through that process.

I also think that sounds like the best solution, stick it on the Forum FTP, and make an Xmail account or something to store it in, which you only give out via email.

I'd like to see it when it's done though :)...

I also think that it should go onto the FTP, you could also give it to people via email.

The only drawback is that even if you only put it onto the FTP, sooner or later someone who has it will give a copy to someone who does not have FTP access and it will spread from there.

Put something at the bottom about how the file must NOT be distributed without your permission and if someone does distribute them, the forum will hunt them down (just like they did to Zyklon_B and the Deathskitchen guy) and prepare to hack/mailflood/spam with gayporn/sign up for junk mail/pay them a visit/anonymously report them to the cops/etc.

Its enevidable (sp?) that it will get out but I can try and thwarft it :) I will include a little rant and rave without my permission. It will be up on the ftp asap and I will set up an account on xmail

If you catch someone distributing it, let everyone at the forum know and we'll make bad things happen...
