Kent Holtorf
Kent Holtorf, M.D. is a proponent of bioidentical hormones, a "chronic infection diseases" expert, and an anti-aging practitioner. According to his webpage biography, he received his M.D. from St. Louis University, trained as a resident at UCLA, and is a diplomate and board examiner for the American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine, which is not recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties.[1] He claims expert knowledge in endocrinology and infectious disease,[2] but his specialty board membership is in a woo-tastic, non-recognized area of medicine. This, of course, did not stop Fox News from inviting him on to spew a bunch of vapid bullshit about the H1N1 vaccine, saying "I have more concern about the vaccine than I do about the swine flu" and then going on to bring up tired arguments such as the vaccine being "rushed to market" (it was not).[3]

No, he doesn't take insurance, and he doesn't work cheap.[4] Still, he really, really cares about his patients' money well being.

- Oddly, he only makes claims about chronic infectious disease. Acute infectious disease must not be his thing.
