Freethought Kampala

Freethought Kampala is a rationalist group in Uganda which promotes "reason in a highly superstitious society". With a large evangelical and charismatic Christian base, coupled with a traditional Pagan animist beliefs, Uganda harbours widespread beliefs in witchcraft, HIV denialism, and homophobia.

  2. Promote reason, logic, science and critical thinking in this highly superstitious society.
  3. To advocate for the use of science and reason in any discourse on national, political or social issues, where relevant.
  4. Interact, and share ideas, with freethinkers from all over the world.
