Freethought Kampala
Freethought Kampala is a rationalist group in Uganda which promotes "reason in a highly superstitious society". With a large evangelical and charismatic Christian base, coupled with a traditional Pagan animist beliefs, Uganda harbours widespread beliefs in witchcraft, HIV denialism, and homophobia.

The group's stated aims are:
- Encourage dialogue between freethinkers in the Kampala area .
- Promote reason, logic, science and critical thinking in this highly superstitious society.
- To advocate for the use of science and reason in any discourse on national, political or social issues, where relevant.
- Interact, and share ideas, with freethinkers from all over the world.
