Frank Tipler

Biography

He has been described as a good scientist turned crackpot. In his early career Tipler published some technical work on general relativity, which was well received by the scientific community. However since then he has published eccentric pseudoscientific books and other materials on global warming denialism, intelligent design and Christianity in an attempt to scientifically prove the existence of God, replete with that hallowed hallmark of crankery, the Galileo gambit.[1] William Lane Craig loves to cite The Anthropic Cosmological Principle, which Tipler co-authored with subsequent Templeton Prize winner John D. Barrow,File:Wikipedia's W.svg in his argument from design.[2]
