Creation Today

Creation Today is the name of the organization and Internet program operated by Eric Hovind. Hovind, a Young Earth Creationist, is accompanied by a guest who discuss creation, religion, and science. Usually in the course of the show Hovind promotes particular books or DVDs that he sells online at CreationToday.org and in his "Creation Store."

History

In late 2011, Creation Science Evangelism, founded by Eric's father Kent Hovind who was in prison, became Creation Today as "a new brand name" and "transition" to a new website.[1] The name change is likely due to the negative attention and criticism about Creation Science Evangelism and the Hovinds.[2]

That same year, Eric Hovind began hosting Creation Today, which appeared on Youtube. Thus far, his main guests have been Paul Taylor, a British creationist, and Sye Ten Bruggencate, an advocate of the Transcendental Argument for the existence of God. The episodes are made for sale on Hovind's website and posted on its YouTube page, CreationScienceMinistries. The first episode was uploaded 5/26/11, discussing several topics including how children should cope in public classrooms.

Hovind continues to spread the same similar creationist propaganda brought forth by his father, while simultaneously distorting and spreading lies about science, such distortions as calling evolution a religion, that teaching it in school is indoctrination, and that these lies should be removed from the textbooks.

Kristopher Tribe (The Creation Guy) joined Creation Today in February 2017 as a contributor.
