Java Edition:Wither Skeleton Spider Jockey
Spiders don't normally spawn in the nether which is why you can't normally get a wither skeleton riding a spider. This can be changed using a spawn egg. It's important to note that some players consider the method of obtaining spawn eggs cheating because it requires the player to enter creative mode. This discontinued mob could only be in the nether prior to 22w13oneBlockAtATime because stacked mobs could not enter portals until 1.21 Pre-Release 1.[1] In 22w13oneBlockAtATime, this feature can also be obtained by stacking mobs.
Obtaining
Spawn Egg
By using a spider spawn egg in the nether there is a 0.8% that any spawned spider will have a wither skeleton riding it. There is a 1% chance it will be a spider jockey but only 80% of skeletons in the nether are of the wither variant (1% * 80% = 0.8%). The spawn egg has to be obtained in 11w49a but the wither skeleton wasn't added until 12w36a (1.4.2 snapshot) which is when you will actually first be able to get the mob. This method works up to 1.10.2; in 16w32a (1.11 snapshot) and later, the spawn egg will always spawn a regular skeleton spider jockey instead of a wither skeleton. A spawner converted with a spider spawn egg can also spawn wither skeleton spider jockeys.
22w13oneBlockAtATime Mob Wrestling
In the April Fools' version 22w13oneBlockAtATime, the player can pick up nearly any entity to create mob stacks in any combination. This powerful method also allows for the wither skeleton spider jockey to be obtained.

Obtaining Combos
The wither skeleton jockey can have other traits that make it rarer when it spawns:
- It can be left-handed. (5%) (15w31a+ (1.9 snapshot))
- If it has CanPickUpLoot it is an additional bonus, and you can give the wither skeleton special armor and items to hold
- A wither skeleton from Halloween can have a pumpkin (special without CanPickUpLoot) or a jack-o-lantern (special with or without CanPickUpLoot)
- The spider in the jockey can have the following infinite potion effects in hard mode: speed, strength, regeneration, or invisibility.
- Rarest type that can spawn: left-handed, canpickuploot, jack-o-lantern, and effected spider (that isn't speed) has a 0.00015125% chance of spawning from any spider during Halloween in highest local difficulty
