Introduction
If the door to your Samsung DV45H7000EW dryer becomes damaged or won't shut properly, this guide will walk you through how to replace the dryer door assembly. It includes instructions for reversing the replacement door assembly's orientation if needed to match the dryer opening.
The dryer door connects to the dryer with two hinges and is held shut by a holder-lever. If a hinge is broken or the door will no longer shut or stay latched, you may need to replace the dryer door assembly. You might also consider replacing the door if you notice hot air escaping from the front of the dryer, indicating a damaged or degraded seal on the door.
Throughout this guide you will have the option of using a power drill to install or remove screws. If you're not familiar with using a power drill, you may want to review this article on how to safely use it: Using a Power Drill the Right Way
Before you begin, make sure to disconnect the dryer's power source.

Hold the replacement door upright with the inside facing you and note what side the hinges are on. In this photo they are on the left.

If the hinges are on the same side of both the dryer and the replacement door, as shown in these photos, the replacement door's orientation will need to be reversed.

The holder-lever consists of two pieces. Remove both pieces, rotate 180 degrees, and place them on the opposite side of the door frame.

There is a sticker covering the unused side of the holder-lever on the bottom plate of the door frame. Pry up the sticker using a flat head screwdriver to remove it.
