Introduction

This guide explains how to replace the mouse wheel on the Rosewill NEON M62 mouse. This should be replaced if the mouse wheel is visually broken or the wheel does not scroll through pages on your computer.

    • Place the mouse so the bottom is facing upwards.

    • Remove the rubber skates.

    • These are not shown in the picture since they were missing from the device.

    • Remove the two 5 mm screws with a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

    • Use the opening tool along the side of the mouse to open up it.

    • This may take multiple attempts to do so; be patient and careful not to break the mouse.

    • Loosen the top and bottom half of the mouse with the opening tool, and slowly pull up the bottom half of the mouse.

    • Use the opening tool to push the scroll wheel RGB board up and to the right until it disconnects.

    • Remove the four 5 mm screws from the motherboard using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

    • Remove the board from the bottom of the mouse.

    • Gently push the wheel up and to the right to remove it from the board.
