Background and Identification

The 2018 iPad is the result of Apple's continued refinement of last year's iPad 5. Geared towards the education market, the iPad 6 implements the newer A10 fusion processor and adds support for the Apple Pencil. It continues to use the same 9.7" unfused Retina display as the iPad 5.

The iPad 6 is available in three finishes: Silver, Gold, and Space Gray. There are two connectivity options: a Wi-Fi only model and LTE-enabled version.

The most often replaced iPad 6 parts include the battery, screen, and home button gasket.
