Background
The bObsweep Pethair Plus is an electronic vacuum and mop made by bObsweep that serves as a multi-purpose automatic cleaning device. It was designed for pet cleanup and overall household floor cleaning. It primarily utilizes an automatic navigational system that is comprised of visual and touch sensors. However, there are ways to manually operate certain settings using the display screen found atop the device.
The bObsweep Pethair Plus was officially unveiled to the public on March 15, 2016. The development of the device took five years, and it is a direct upgrade from bObsweep’s original “bObsweep Pethair” with improvements in simultaneous vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, UV sterilizing and HEPA filtration.
There is only one standard model with five cosmetic color variations: cobalt, charcoal, rouge, champagne, and mocha. This bObsweep model has no reported recalls. The base price for each color is listed for $549.00 on the official bObsweep website. It can be found cheaper at BestBuy for $399.99.
Identification
The bObsweep Pethair Plus is a robotic vacuum with an LCD screen with a black, plastic frame and matching black buttons, as well as a smooth, flat top cover that comes in five different, solid colors. It is 4.2 inches tall with a 13.8-inch diameter, and is the heaviest model, coming in at 8 pounds. It has one main brush on the underside and one side brush that protrudes from its front edge. Its model number is WPP56002 and can be found on the side panel directly adjacent to the power switch.
