Background and Identification
The Sony Alpha NEX-C3 was released in 2011, and it is the 2nd generation of the Sony Alpha NEX series cameras. It is a simple point and shoot camera with a full size DSLR. At the time (2011), it was the smallest interchangeable lens digital still camera with a APS-C size sensor.
It can shoot movies in 720/30p HD or 480/30p. The videos are captured in MP4 format. The Sony Alpha NEX-C3 has a 18-55mm wide-angle lens and a 16.2 MP Exmor APS HD CMOS image sensor.
The Sony Alpha NEX-C3 was replaced by the Sony Alpha NEX-F3 in 2012. However, due to the camera's features and reliability, it is still a useful camera.
