Troubleshooting

If you are having trouble with the Razer DeathAdder V2 Pro, try referring to the troubleshooting page.

Background

The model was released as an upgrade from the previous models of the DeathAdders in 2020 as the Razer DeathAdder V2 Pro. This model includes a battery life of up to 70 hours in low-latency 2.4GHz mode as well as up to 120 hours in long-endurance Bluetooth mode.

The Razer is equipped with a Razer Focus+ sensor capable of 20,000 CPI and the second-generation optical switches are updated to ensure no double-clicking. The rubber side grips are injection molded for better quality grip and durability with a lightweight structure to ease handling. These features make the Razer a useful accessory for first-person shooter (FPS) games.

The first sample of the Razer DeathAdder V2 came out in 2006. The difference between this version and the Razer DeathAdder V2 Pro which is the most recent model, is that the Pro version is wireless. Other than that, the Pro model is quite standard to the earlier model; they have identical look and shape.

This model has no failure modes on record, and has never been subjected to a recall from any manufacturer. The mouse sensitivity and the DPI button malfunction are the most common reported issues. The Razer DeathAdder V2 earned its popularity because of its high level of speed and control.

Identification

The DeathAdder V2 is slimmer and lighter than other Razers and can be distinguished by the full name "Razer DeathAdder V2 Pro" printed on the bottom of the device.
