Background
Released in 2012, the Motorola Droid RAZR HD is a variation of the original Droid RAZR. A 4.7" 720p Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen provides excellent display color and sharpness, and an 8 megapixel rear camera augmented by a 1.3 megapixel front camera takes excellent photos.
The phone comes with a powerful 1.5 GHz dual core processor and 1 GB of RAM for strong multitasking capacity. The phone also comes with 16 GB of internal storage with the option of adding up to a 32 GB MicroSD card. Originally, the phone shipped with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, but it was later upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat.
Identification
The Droid RAZR HD can be identified by its extremely large 4.7" screen, the MOTOROLA logo across the top of the phone, and its sleek black appearance. It can be differentiated from the nearly identical Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX HD by its 0.9 mm slimmer profile and its 16 GB of internal storage. The back cover of the phone also has an identifying model number on the bottom. The model number for the Droid RAZR HD is XT926.
