Background and Identification

The Logitech M750 is a wireless trackball mouse with an ergonomic design—sculpted right-hand shape. A trackball is a pointing device consisting of a ball held by a socket containing sensors to detect a rotation of the ball about two axes—like an upside-down mouse with an exposed protruding ball. People with mobility impairment use trackballs as an assistive technology input device. However, many other users like using trackball mouses because it is easier to manipulate, and the buttons can be activated without affecting the pointer position.

With the Logitech M570, the mouse is mainly operated with the thumb while the user’s hand rests on the mouse’s sculpted shape. The mouse’s trackball comes with the Logitech Unifying receiver, which stays in the user’s laptop—so there is no need to unplug the mouse when moving around. Moreover, a compatible keyboard or number pad can be added without dealing with multiple USB receivers. The M570 can last up to 18 months without changing batteries. The battery life can be detected with the mouse’s Battery indicator.
