Background
The Windows Mixed Reality VR 1000-100 is a virtual reality headset designed for use on Windows systems. Released in October of 2017, the headset boasts a comfortable design with a generally intuitive use. The design has a large, adjustable headband connected to a visor. This visor extends a wire that connects to a computer via USB 3 and HDMI. Generally, the headset only needs to be plugged into a windows computer before it can be used.
Each eye contains a 1440 by 1440 picture screen on a 2.9 inch LCD display, with a 60Hz refresh rate. The specs that the headset has means it is generally capable of running on most modern computers, assuming it has USB 3. The WMR Headset has been noted as being similar to other VR headsets, such as the Acer AH101 in capabilities.
Identification
The Headset is a matte black VR headset with a horizontal glossy band going across the front face plate. There are two cameras on either side of this band. On the right side of the band there will be an HP logo and on the top of the face covering will be the HP logo followed by “Windows Mixed Reality”
