Background and Information
According to HP, the Chromebox was first released by Samsung on May 29, 2012. This model can be identified by locating the product number on the bottom on the device. This device is matte black, compact (taking up 5in of desk space), and features both the HP and Google logos on the top of the device. It can also be identified by its various ports; it houses a two USB ports, and a set of connections to support a keyboard, pointing device, and one or more monitors. It contains a 16 GB hard drive, Intel Celeron processor, HDMI, SD Card Reader, and audio functions. Chromebox devices primarily support web applications, and therefore rely heavily on internet connection for software functionality and data storage.
