Background

Designed by Google and manufactured by HTC, the Pixel XL was released on October 20, 2016. It was launched operating on Android 7.1 Nougat and includes deep integration with Google's new Assistant software.

With its 5.5" AMOLED display, the XL is the larger of Google's two Pixel phones. The XL delivers a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. It has a 3450 mAh battery and a 32 or 128 GB storage option. The Pixel has a USB Type-C connector and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. It features a 12.3-megapixel rear-facing camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The Google Pixel XL comes in three colors: Quite Black, Very Silver, or Really Blue.

Identification

The Google Pixel XL can be identified by the model number (G-2PW2100) etched into the back of the phone. The Pixel’s rear fingerprint reader and glass panel that takes up about a third of the back distinguishes it from other mobile devices.
