Background and Identification
The Geneva Sound System Model XS is a portable Bluetooth-powered speaker system with FM radio and a built-in alarm clock. The XS model is designed as a portable speaker that can be easily unpacked and used. The speaker allows users to wirelessly stream audio from any Bluetooth-compatible device to the Model XS. The Geneva Sound System Model XS speaker features touch-sensitive controls, two 1-inch tweeters for precise mid- and high-tones, and one 2-1/4-inch woofer for lows. Each speaker is powered by its own amplifier and is separately chambered to ensure clear sound without cross-interference.
The Geneva Sound System Model XS includes a built-in FM tuner with six presets. The tuner has a separate analog amplifier while the Bluetooth receiver uses a digital amplifier. The speaker's digital clock includes a programmable alarm. The Geneva Sound System Model XS's touch-sensitive buttons are positioned along the top of the system. The buttons are backlit for visibility in low-light settings.
The Geneva Sound System Model XS includes a Euro-style metal grille, and the digital clock is displayed in the device's top right-hand corner. The LED display is invisible behind the speaker's grille until activated, then red letters and numbers show through, indicating time, mode, or FM frequency.
