These are some common tools used to work on this device. You might not need every tool for every procedure.
Background and Identification
The Easy Rooter Junior EJ-B model includes 75 feet of 1/2-inch Flexicore Cable (catalog number 75EM3) and the Easy Rooter Junior Cutter Set. The 75EM3 cable includes male and female connectors. The Easy Rooter Junior Cutting Set (EJCS) includes the Arrow Head, 1-1/2-inch U-Cutter, 2-inch U-Cutter, and a small retrieving tool. The EJ-B model can drive cleaning cable into most 2-, 3-, and 4-inch drain lines. The model’s cage can hold up to 100 feet of 1/2-inch cable.
The Easy Rooter Junior EJ-B model includes a chuck that secures the cable during operation. It includes a 0.33-horsepower capacitor motor. The motor features a momentary contact reverse switch for thermal overload protection. This feature prevents the operator from running the drain cleaner in reverse for more than a few seconds. It also includes an air-actuated foot pedal, a ground fault circuit interrupter, and a safety slip clutch.
The Easy Rooter Junior EJ-B model features an orange-colored powder-coated steel frame. It also includes a roll bar that protects the machine’s motor when loading, unloading, and maneuvering. It has two 10-inch ball bearing wheels and wheel brakes to keep the machine in one place during operation. The drain cleaner’s handle folds down for storage and transportation. The brand name “General” is printed in orange font above the model name “Easy Rooter Junior” in white font on the motor covering above the coil of cable.
