Background and Identification
The Echo Power Pruner is a pole saw that is manufactured by Echo, a company that produces power tools for garden maintenance. This pruner was released in 2019. This tool is made of a twelve inch chainsaw blade at the end of a long shaft. Like other pole saws, the Echo Power Pruner is intended for trimming and clearing use on high or difficult-to-reach garden areas, including hedges and tree branches. Pole saws are often advertised as a safer way to prune an area, because many branches and hedgetops can be reached from the ground with a long enough pole, so the user doesn’t need to climb and balance on a ladder while trimming.
This pruner has received high reviews from users for its power and efficiency. It starts quickly even in cold weather and can cut easily through branches, although some said that it was quite heavy.
The Echo Power Pruner PPT-2620 can be identified by the Echo branding on the side of the blade and the handle, as well as the orange cover on the driveshaft (pole).
