Background and Identification
The Dyson V8 vacuums were first created in 2016 by Dyson Ltd. This new series of Dyson vacuums featured longer battery life, more powerful suction, and larger bin capacity. The vacuum sells for $399 on the Dyson website. Currently, the most common component that requires replacement on the Dyson V8 Animal is the filter, seeing as the vacuum needs a clean filter to properly clean surfaces. The Dyson V8 line of vacuums is known for its powerful suction and 40 minutes of battery life. Compared to other Dyson V8 vacuums, the Animal is primarily designed for homes with pets.
The Dyson V8 Animal is about four feet long, and ten inches in both the other directions. The body is silver-grey and has purple accents. It is made primarily of plastic. The vacuum has “Dyson V8 Animal+” located on the top of the purple shaft that connects the tool to the motor. The serial number is located on the bottom of the battery, which is attached to the handle. This includes other legal information and manufacturing numbers.
The Dyson V8 Animal was subsequently replaced by the Dyson Cyclone V10 in 2018.
