Background

The Dyson V8 Absolute is one of the latest models released by Dyson in April of 2016. Similar to other Absolute Models the body style and click technology hasn’t changed, allowing the Dyson V8 Absolute to be distinguished by a gold or silver wand. Aside from color differences, the HEPA filter is a distinguishing difference between other Dyson Absolute models. On the V8, the HEPA filter is purple and adorned by three vent lines. The newest change for the Absolute line is the mechanism used to empty the bin on the V8 model, with one pull of a tab compared to a trigger pull on the V7 and V6 models.

Like other models, the V8 comes with a soft roller head and a direct drive head, as well as a new mini motorized head with plenty of other accessories. They Dyson V8 model line has an integrated 21.6v lithium-ion battery. The V8 model runs for 40 minutes, ten minutes longer than the V7 model and twenty minutes longer than the V6 model. Dyson claims a full recharge time from empty of 210 minutes.

There is currently no recall information on the V8 Absolute model. If any problems were to occur that could not be fixed or solved using the troubleshooting page, Dyson offers a servicing option on their website. The Dyson V8 Absolute has a two year warranty.
