Background

Angle-grinders came about the mid 20th century. Today, there are many companies that manufacture different styles of handheld angle-grinders. When people think of this particular model, it can be identified by the distinct DeWalt yellow and black brand colors.

The model is sold by different major stores including The Home Depot, Amazon, Lowe’s, etc. The product is a replacement for the D28110 and came out around 2012. The product has great feedback from “do-it-yourselfers” and tile installers due to its size, simplicity and power output.

This small angle grinder with a lock on switch is powered by a 7 amp motor and uses a 4-1/2 inch disk. It has a 1-Touch Guard (tool free guard) for fast repositioning and the flange works with both spanner wrench or hex key. This product only works at one speed (12,000 rpm), which is typical for a small corded angle grinder. This product weights 5.6 pounds.
