Tools

These are some common tools used to work on this device. You might not need every tool for every procedure.

Background

This Acer Chromebook comes standard with 2.1 GHz processor that is able to run 4gb of memory and a 32gb flash hard drive for all of your documents. The 13.3'' touchscreen is accompanied by a 360 degree hinge that allows you to use this either as a tablet or a full laptop, while staying under 3.5 pounds. One of the most impressive aspects of this device is the Quad-core Processor that they were able to fit into this small Chromebook.

Although this seems to be a great bang for its buck, it still comes with a few flaws that need to be fixed. For example, the hinge has been reported to break/ wear down over time. The touchscreen feature has also been know to act up and not perform properly in tablet mode. Lastly, the speakers are prone to losing all volume, even with the volume turned up all the way. Even though these flaws may not be a turn off for all buyers of this laptop, they are certainly still things that we will be going over on how to fix.
