The Acer Chromebook C720-2420 is a Linux-based running device with a Chrome operating system, released in January 2013. This device is a combination of the preview models, the Acer C720P and the Acer C7. This equipment is powered a 1.4 GHz Intel Celeron Haswell micro-architecture processor and has up to 8 hours of battery life. This 11.6 in. device has a 2GB DDR3L SDRAM RAM.

This Chromebook is capable of starting up in less than 7 seconds and continuously provides automatic updates to keep it virus free. It weighs a mere 2 pounds. It also collects its applications and data through its storage saving the Cloud.

Unfortunately, some common issues on the C720-2420 model include failure on Wi-Fi tracking connection and poor battery life.
