Yardrat (5e Race)

Yardrat

I learned how to use the technique Instant Transmission from the yardrats. The yardrats are really strange. They're not strong at all, but they have crazy techniques! I owe a lot to the yardrats for teaching me how to use the Instant Transmission. I should go thank them again sometime.

Society

Yardrats usually wear the same clothing which are often lavish with ruffles and belts. Any variation of the style is acceptable based on social standing, however deviation from the basic idea of the most popular fashion will often get a yardrat discriminated against by his peers. Damaging a yardrats clothes may be perceived as a huge sign of disrespect. They often make a living through their Instant Transmission ability, transporting goods, people, or creatures from one area to another. Sometimes yardrats travel the world to see new places and new people to expand their Transmission range, which is often how they become adventurers. It is not in a yardrat to deny the opportunity of gaining knowledge, and they are eager to share their knowledge. Their society is a perfect picture of unity, and it is very rare for one yardrat to turn down another who may need help. They are usually very kind and helpful.
