Class Features

All the following are class features of the witch lady:

Psionic Powers (Ps): A witch lady's powers are those of a psion, since she uses her willpower to discipline her psychic abilites; however, unlike psions and like wilders, the ability modifier for her powers is Charisma rather than Intelligence.

Power Points/Day: A witch lady’s ability to manifest powers is limited by the power points she has available. Her base daily allotment of power points is given on Table: Witch. In addition, she receives bonus power points per day if she has a high Charisma score (see Table: Ability Modifiers and Bonus Power Points). Her race may also provide bonus power points per day, as may certain feats and items.

Powers Known: A witch begins her ladyship knowing four psion power of her choice. Every level thereafter, she unlocks the knowledge a new power. She selects her powers from the psion power list or from the list of powers of her chosen discipline. She cannot choose powers from restricted discipline lists other than her chosen discipline lists. She can choose powers from disciplines other than her own if they are not on a restricted discipline list. (Exception: The feats Expanded Knowledge and Epic Expanded Knowledge do allow a witch to learn powers from the lists of other disciplines or even other classes.) A witch an manifest any power that has a power point cost equal to or lower than her manifester level.

The number of times a witch lady can manifest powers in a day is limited only by her daily power points.

A witch lady simply knows her powers; they are ingrained in her mind. She does not need to prepare them (in the way that some spellcasters prepare their spells), though she must get a good night’s sleep each day to regain all her spent power points.

The Difficulty Class for saving throws against witch lady powers is 10 + the power’s level + the witch’s Charisma modifier.

Maximum Power Level Known: A witch lady begins play with the ability to learn 2nd-level powers. Every other level thereafter, a witch gains the ability to master more complex powers.

To learn or manifest a power, a witch lady have an Charisma score of at least 10 + the power’s level.

Candles: Candles create identification and detection effects. Anyone can light a candle, but if they do not recognize the type of candle they are lighting, the results may be unexpected. A newly created candle burns for 50 hours.

Witchglyphs: Glyphs create an aura affect over a wide area. They exist until destroyed or dismissed, but must be periodically reinvoked. The Invoke Witchglyph skill is required to utilize a glyph correctly. Glyphs cannot be imbued.

Witchstaffs: Compare standard staffs.

Timeless Body (Ex): Upon attaining ladyship, a witch no longer takes ability score penalties for aging and cannot be magically aged. Any penalties she may have already incurred, however, remain in place. Her appearance ceases to change due to ageing.

Bonuses still accrue, and the witch still dies of old age when her time is up.

gollark: I would also have to actually use git (or fossil I guess) on it.
gollark: I guess? But people might foolishly expect my software to work and be slightly good if I release it.
gollark: I plan to work on full text search but this may require changing things around.
gollark: I can send you a tar of it on a no support whatsoever basis.
gollark: If I released it, people might complain if I arbitrarily broke backward compatibility and changed round the database structure.
