Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement)

You can use your action to blow this whistle. When you do so, four bodyguards (use veteran statistics) appear in unoccupied spaces within 30 feet of you. The bodyguards disappear after 1 minute or when they drop to 0 hit points, whichever happens first. The bodyguards are friendly to you and your companions for the duration. Roll initiative for the bodyguards, which have their own turns. They obey any verbal commands that you issue to them (no action required by you). If you don't issue any commands to the bodyguards, they defend themselves from hostile creatures but otherwise take no actions.

Once you have used this property of the whistle, you can't use it again until the next dawn.
