Path of Celerity

This is an subclass designed for the Monk Class

There are some who attempt to usurp the bonds of their own reality through mechanism's such as flight, divine blessing, or arcane study. Ours is an attempt to personify the limitation the very laws of science have shackled us with. The Path of Celerity is for those who desire to know the true meaning of speed, to leave behind the measure of time itself.

Fleet Fighting

At 3rd level you begin to learn how to use your speed to deliver devastating blows to even the most durable of opponents. Once per turn, when you hit a creature with a melee or thrown weapon attack and you have physically moved at least 15 feet in a straight line before the attack, you can expend 1 ki point to deal an additional 1d6 damage for every two monk levels you possess.
When you move on your turn in combat, you can gain a bonus to your based speed equal to your Unarmored Movement bonus until the end of your turn. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you move 0 feet on one of your turns.

Speed Personified

At 6th level of this class you have attained the first breakthrough in your training to push the bounds of physical limitations. While traveling, you can travel at a fast pace without penalty and while traveling at a normal pace you are able to use stealth. You can expend 4 ki points as a bonus action to gain the effects of the haste spell for 1 minute, this effect requires the same concentration as a spell. After this effect ends you receive one level of exhaustion. While you are under the effects of the haste spell, opportunity attacks against you have disadvantage and your speed cannot be reduced by any outside effect.

Accelerated Nature

At 11th level of this class your body has become suffused with the aspect of speed that you can now gain the effects of the haste spell as a reaction when you are attacked, roll for initiative, or subjected to a saving throw by spending 2 additional ki points (total of 6) as long as you’re not surprised. You no longer need to concentrate on this effect and do not suffer the ill effects of the haste spell or the level of exhaustion.
While under the effects of haste you add your Wisdom modifier to your initiative rolls and ignore the effects of any exhaustion. At the start of each of your turns, you gain one speed point, you can only hold a maximum of 3 speed points. These points may be used as Ki points but cannot be used to cast or refresh the duration of the effects of haste. All speed points granted by this feature disappear when the effects of haste end.

The Unfettered

At 17th level you are no longer bound by the normal laws of reality. You can expend 8 ki points to cast the plane shift or teleport spell once each. You regain the ability to cast these spells this way when you finish a long rest. You must be a target when you cast either spell, and you must still have the material components to cast plane shift. Additionally you may expend 3 ki points while under the effects of haste to gain the following benefits for the duration:

  • You can use your bonus action or the additional action from haste to forfeit up to 60 feet of your movement to teleport the distance you forfeited. You must teleport to an unoccupied space you can see.
  • You gain the benefits of the freedom of movement spell.
  • When you choose to use the additional action from haste to make a weapon attack, you may make two attacks instead of only one.
  • At the start of each of your turns, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Wisdom modifier, provided that you have at least 1 hit point. These temporary hit points disappear when the effects of haste end.
  • You can move through other creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. While inside an object or creature you have tremorsense with a radius of 10 feet. If you occupy the same spot as a solid object or creature at the end of your movement are immediately shunted to the nearest unoccupied space that you can occupy and take force damage equal to twice the number of feet you are moved.
