Destined

Warrior of the Stars

You have been chosen by the spirits of the universe, to carry out their will and protect the flow of time as you still breathe. They have instilled you with holy or hellish power, that you now control to do with it good or evil. No matter your choice, they have chosen to protect you for a reason. Your duty as their champion is to find your purpose in this world and discover your power.

Creating a Destined

When creating a Destined, there are a few things you want to consider. Why was your character chosen? What is your character's connection to the spirits or spirit worlds? How did your character discover their power and what is their goal?

Quick Build

You can make a Destined quickly by following these suggestions. First, Strength or Dexterity should be your highest ability score depending on the subclass you choose, followed by Wisdom. Second, choose the Far Traveler background.

Class Features

As a Destined you gain the following class features.

Hit Points

Hit Dice: 1d8 per Destined level
Hit Points at 1st Level: 8 + Constitution modifier
Hit Points at Higher Levels: 1d8 (or 5) + Constitution modifier per Destined level after 1st

Proficiencies

Armor: Light Armor and Medium Armor
Weapons: Simple Weapons and Martial Weapons
Tools: none
Saving Throws: Dexterity and Charisma
Skills: Choose 2 from Arcana, Stealth, Perception, Insight, Acrobatics, Survival, Animal Handling, and Persuasion.

Equipment

You start with the following equipment, in addition to the equipment granted by your background:

  • (a) one martial melee weapon or (b) two simple melee weapons or (c) one Longbow and 20 Arrows
  • (a) Scale Mail or (b) Studded Leather Armor or (c) Leather Armor
  • (a) Explorer's pack or (b) Scholar's pack
  • If you are using starting wealth, you have 4d4 gp in funds.
