Warglaive (5e Equipment)

This page is incomplete and/or lacking flavor. Reason: What differentiates a warglaive from a normal glaive, which this should represent perfectly well, maybe having a non-broken image link would help. In addition, feats are an optional variant rule, and thus a weapon should not be fundamentally tied to one. Additionally, this weapon is apparently heavy enough to be difficult for Small creatures to wield, but light enough to be wielded in one hand, which just doesn't make sense. It's also unusual that its Two-Handed damage die has a lower maximum than its One-Handed, but that isn't a huge deal.

This page is of questionable balance. Reason: A weapon with finesse and reach (or just has any sort of AC bonus) should be balanced like a whip, so this deals far too much damage.

Martial Melee Weapons

Warglaive60 gp1d10 slashing2.5 lb.Heavy, Reach, Versatile (2d4), Special*

This weapon is a strange and an unconventional type of swords that have an edge from the top and bottom of its handle, and have an arm guard that is attached to it.

  • When Wielding in two Hands this weapons become a finesse weapon.
  • Dual wielding two of these weapons will give you an extra 1 to AC.
  • If you make an attack of opportunity against a target, you can attack with both hands if you are dual wielding.
  • This weapon can only be dual wielded with the Dual Wielder feat.

/!\ A more balanced version of this weapon could be (--> Heavy, Versatile (1d6), Two-handed, Special*) to answer the need of Finesse double weapon. /!\ No mention of the Double Weapon Master skill on this weapon, could be: "Both heads deals 1d8 damages"
