Welcome!

Hello Lemiel14n3 and welcome to D&D Wiki. I hope you have been enjoying D&D Wiki and I hope you have been finding the information here useful. Before you start contributing it is recommended that you make sure your user preferences match your preferences.

Questions

If you have any questions about a specific page please ask it on that page's talk page. If you have a D&D-related question please ask it on DnD Discussions. Everything relating to D&D Wiki's administration can be found here. If your question does not fit into one of the above possibilities or you need to contact another user please use their talk page.

Formatting

Syntax can be very difficult, and if you need help a good place to start is Help:Editing on Wikipedia (or even their Introduction page). This will explain basic wiki formatting and should provide quite a few useful links that explain more specific areas of wiki formatting. Help pages also provide help in areas that have been decided as requiring additional explanation.

Community

A strong and welcoming community exists on D&D Wiki, and I am sure you will find it rather nice. To enable the community to function policies are in effect. Most importantly follow Wikipedia's guidelines on civility and etiquette when discussing anything and do not delete content. Also, to ensure people know who posted what, please sign your name after a post with four tildes (~~~~) or by clicking on the signature icon (). This will automatically produce your name and the date. I hope you come to enjoy D&D Wiki and the community and welcome again, you are now a D&D Wikian. --Green Dragon (talk) 09:49, 3 February 2015 (MST)

5e Weapons

Thank you for those contributions to the 5e weapons pages! My wiki-fu is limited, and I have no idea how to put pictures up- especially what with issues of copyright.--Kydo (talk) 02:41, 17 December 2014 (MST)

5e campaign settings

I just wanted to let you know that from what I've seen of Orizon thus far (which admittedly isn't much yet), it's pretty damn amazing. I hope you don't mind if I take some inspiration from it, particularly the format and organization. I desperately needed that for Raesokera. I doubt Orizon needs any further critique, but I'll let you know if I find anything. Raesokera doesn't have much on here other than the 5e homebrew races (all found under the Raesokeran tag, or at least all together on the main page in that way), but I could use a bit of critique on the historical and societal content. I particularly like the idea of wild magic storms, though I'm not sure I'll need it with as much havoc and chaos there already is in Raesokera, heh. Anyway thanks again! Hello, I'm new to the wiki and just starting to DM in Fantasy Grounds. I let my party vote on the campaign setting they wanted to play in Orizon was the top option, beating out the Realms, Eberron, Dark Sun, Plane Shift, and more. It was the only setting that everyone unanimously rated as one they would love to try. I look forward to playing in the setting and contributing to the wiki. If you have time I would appreciate being able to email you directly to bounce ideas off of you. I'm not sure how we setup that kind of communication without giving out emails publicly. Maybe meet in the chat room or something? Arizod (talk) 11:05, 13 November 2017 (MST)

gollark: You seem to be suggesting that a lack of headphone jacks is fine because I can just carry another device for no non-headphone-jack reason.
gollark: I don't want to carry two devices when my phone has an entirely usable audio player app (and can even do video, and store 128GB of stuff, and that sort of thing), and actually has a headphone jack.
gollark: ... but my phone can play audio fine?
gollark: Especially since the alternative seems to just be proprietary headphone things which use up the one port on most phones.
gollark: I think being annoyed about the dropping of a standard and useful I/O feature for dubious reasons is fair.
