Talk Pages

Hello Joter, I have reverted some of your changes at Talk:Reaver (5e Class) that removed the comments of other users. Please see Help:Talk_Pages#Editing or Deleting Existing Comments for more information. Thanks, Marasmusine (talk) 10:14, 6 June 2019 (MDT)

Regarding those changes, they had been completed and many were out of date for a while now. It seemed irrelivant to keep comments from 2 years ago that had a number of changes since, and for your comments, those had been done for some time. Regards, Joter (talk) 17:17, 6 June 2019 (GMT)
It doesn't matter, we keep the record of everything that was discussed. It can be helpful to see how a page has changed in response to feedback.
I also noticed that you have been checking "minor edit" for significant edits such as . Marasmusine (talk) 10:21, 6 June 2019 (MDT)
Alright, although I am heavily against keeping comments from some time ago which have little relevance to the current. I believe that it would not help in some cases, and for that one link. That was a click mistake. Joter (talk) 17:23, 6 June 2019 (GMT)
Would it be a reasonable compromise to archive the comments that are no longer relevant? Geodude (talk | contribs | email)‎‎ . . 10:27, 6 June 2019 (MDT)
Just add a comment that says "I think I've fixed the above issues." You need to give others chance to review the changes. I can't count the number of times someone says they've fixed all the issues described on the talk page, but the problems are still there. Marasmusine (talk) 10:29, 6 June 2019 (MDT)
That could be done, it sounds like a good idea by making a section with past comments and the responses Joter (talk) 17:30, 6 June 2019 (GMT)
We would normally only Archive a talk page if it becomes cluttered with many ("30") old conversations. If you think this should be otherwise, it should be discussed at Help talk:Talk Pages. Marasmusine (talk) 10:35, 6 June 2019 (MDT)
If permitted, I will be going ahead with replies to each comment and do a sub heading for previous comments, I was not trying to discuss a full Archive, only to reply to previous talks. Joter (talk) 17:41, 6 June 2019 (GMT)

Sleep (5e Variant Rule)

I'm not quite sure what kind of changes you are suggesting for this variant rule. --Cosmos (talk) 14:54, 13 June 2019 (MDT)

Fire Dragon's Iron Fist

I have one question: was the spelling the only problem with this evocation spell? I wanna know so that I can fix it.

Spelling was the only issue in there, even though there is advantage on the attack roll. This does balance out due to it being a 1st level and by comparison to others also. Joter 14:53, 20 September 2019 (GMT)

gollark: You can't use an actual *library* that way, I mean, but you can use calling out to external programs in a *vaguely similar way* to dynamic linking.
gollark: Libraries don't, programs do.
gollark: Ish.
gollark: It serves a somewhat similar purpose.
gollark: For example, call out to the `gzip` program instead of dynamically/statically/whateverly linking zlib.
