Welcome!

Hello ChibiPotatoes and welcome to D&D Wiki. I hope you have been enjoying D&D Wiki and I hope you have been finding the information here useful. Before you start contributing it is recommended that you make sure your user preferences match your preferences.

Questions

If you have any questions about a specific page please ask it on that page's talk page. If you have a D&D-related question please ask it on DnD Discussions. Everything relating to D&D Wiki's administration can be found here. If your question does not fit into one of the above possibilities or you need to contact another user please use their talk page.

Formatting

Syntax can be very difficult, and if you need help a good place to start is Help:Editing on Wikipedia (or even their Introduction page). This will explain basic wiki formatting and should provide quite a few useful links that explain more specific areas of wiki formatting. Help pages also provide help in areas that have been decided as requiring additional explanation.

Community

A strong and welcoming community exists on D&D Wiki, and I am sure you will find it rather nice. To enable the community to function policies are in effect. Most importantly follow Wikipedia's guidelines on civility and etiquette when discussing anything and do not delete content. Also, to ensure people know who posted what, please sign your name after a post with four tildes (~~~~) or by clicking on the signature icon (). This will automatically produce your name and the date. I hope you come to enjoy D&D Wiki and the community and welcome again, you are now a D&D Wikian. --Green Dragon (talk) 22:01, 29 January 2013 (MST)

Formatting

Hi Chibi, thanks for your email. I suggest naming your setting pages as I did with Resource Wars 2118 (D20 Modern Campaign Setting)/History as this ties everything together and provides a quick backlink to the top of the page. You can also write:

[[Resource Wars 2118 (D20 Modern Campaign Setting)/History|History]]

to make it appear like this: History.

I have never played d20 modern, but I can help you with formatting and so forth. Marasmusine (talk) 05:08, 31 May 2012 (MDT)

I was just curious, how exactly would I apply that type of link to my other pages? ChibiPotatoes (talk) 18:01, 1 June 2012 (MDT)

Hi Chibi, can I just ask, are those gun images made using Pimp My Gun? If so, can you credit the software on the file pages (per ), thanks. Marasmusine (talk) 14:40, 6 August 2012 (MDT)

I'll go ahead do that right now.
gollark: Generally by "backend" people mean "the webserver serving the APIs this needs/the code".
gollark: I think you're using the wrong definition of backend.
gollark: And there's that one TS compiler in Go (it doesn't check types, just builds things).
gollark: I mean, you need a TS *compiler* of some sort, but your *API server/webserver* doesn't have to be Node.
gollark: Not for sane definitions of "backends".
