Remei
Medium humanoid (stoatlet), neutral good, 1st-level runner Armor Class 17 (scale mail)
Saving Throws Str +1, Dex +5 Extra Attack.Starting at 1st level, when you take the Attack action on your turn and attack using an unarmed strike, you can make an extra unarmed strike as part of that action. You may make two extra unarmed strikes in this way at 5th level, three extra in this way at 11th level, and four extra, for a total of five, at 20th level. You may not make additional unarmed strikes as a bonus action unless a magical effect (Ki does not count) is allowing you to do so. You may gain more versatile kinds of extra attack that effect other things, but you always have the ability to make as many unarmed strikes as the Runner class' Extra Attack allows. Martial Arts. Starting at 1st level, you can use Dexterity instead of Strength for the attack and damage rolls of your unarmed strikes. You can roll a d4 in place of the normal damage of your unarmed strikes. This die changes as you gain Runner levels, as shown in the Martial Arts column of the Runner table. You are considered proficient with your unarmed strikes. Freerunning. Starting at 1st level, your speed increases by 5 feet while you are not encumbered or wearing heavy armour. This bonus increases when you reach certain Runner levels, as shown in the Runner table. Also, your jump distance is doubled, climbing no longer costs you extra movement, and you have advantage on any Athetics check made to run, jump, slide, climb, swing or otherwise move athletically. Also, you can make any Strength (Athletics) check as a Dexterity (Athletics) check. Evasive Abilities. Your AC increases by 1 if you are not wearing heavy armour. Of the Land. You lack the formal education of the higher classes, but for how little you may know there is a great deal that you understand. You have a practical, working knowledge of astrology and meteorology, and can easily track the time and date as well as predict the weather within a few hours, or days if you're lucky. You understand the "secrets of life"; the needs of life (water, light, air, salt, etc.), the patterns of physical inheritance, and the connections between different plants and animals. At the DM's discretion, this can be represented by allowing a farmer to cast commune with nature once per long rest, except that the range is limited to environments common to you within 10 feet and you can only choose one of the first two choices. ACTIONSDagger. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) piercing damage. Unarmed Strike. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) bludgeoning damage.

AppearanceRemei is exceedingly tall for a Stoatlet, standing at 5' 11". She has sleek chestnut fur with a pale cream underbelly, and round, expressive ears. BackgroundGrowing up in a peaceful rural backwater, Remei had a happy and carefree childhood and grew into a lithe and glossy-furred adolescent Stoatlet. She met a tall, handsome and intelligent Stoatlet in her twentieth year and fell deeply in love. They lived together farming the land on the banks of the river. One night terror came to their peaceful homestead, and her beloved was killed trying to protect their home. Devastated, Remei left her homeland and took to the road. Struggling to make ends meet, her lithe athleticism drew the attention of Ruzciek, a human Runner in the first town she came to, when she evaded a band of muggers in a darkened alley by swiftly climbing the wooden framed houses and escaping over the rooftops. Ruzciek took her in and trained her in dagger- fighting, which she showed a natural proficiency in. His cabal, Red Hand, were keen for her to join their ranks, and Ruzciek implored her to stay with him. He had fallen for this sad-eyed Stoatlet. But whilst she was grateful for his kindness and vowed lifelong friendship and loyalty to him, she had decided to travel further afield, in an attempt to leave behind the memories of her lost love.
I owe a debt of gratitude to Ruzciek and the Red Hand who took me in and trained me.
