Undersized Lifesteal Crossbow (5e Equipment)

This page is of questionable balance. Reason: Firstly, an undersized crossbow is a hand crossbow. Secondly, hit point regeneration needs to be more measured than this so I suggest you look at something like the Sword of Life Stealing.

Weapon (Crossbow, light), Very Rare (Yes)

An undersize light crossbow that grants life to the user at the expense of someone else's death.

An undersized crossbow that deals 1d8 necrotic damage + your Dexterity modifier. When you hit a creature that is not undead or a construct, you gain a number of hit points equal to the amount of necrotic damage you dealt.
