Magic Resistance. The ullagon has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Magic Weapons. The ullagon's weapon attacks are magical.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The ullagon makes four attacks: one with its bite, two with its claws, and one with its tail.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 18 (2d10 + 7) piercing damage and 14 (4d6) psychic damage. If the ullagon scores a critical hit against a creature, the target must succeed on a DC 17 Intelligence saving throw or be stunned for 1 minute. An affected creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (2d8 + 7) slashing damage and 14 (4d6) psychic damage.

Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 20 (2d12 + 7) bludgeoning damage and 14 (4d6) psychic damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 22 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Extract Brain (Recharge 5-6). Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 5 ft., one prone humanoid. Hit: The target takes 55 (10d10) piercing damage. If this damage reduces the target to 0 hit points, the ullagon kills the target by extracting its brain and storing the brain inside itself. The ullagon can store no more than six brains in this way at once.

Ullagons are bizarre constructs whose lithe yet powerful bodies are made from gleaming blue-green metal crisscrossed with veins of white light. This unearthly metal conducts psionic energy, causing its already deadly strikes to cause intense mental pain as their targets' thoughts are drained out of them, which the ullagon can view at any time.
More threateningly, when an ullagon pounces upon its enemies, its body will begin to shudder as it extends a long needle from its mouth, before plunging deep into its victim's skull, hoping to remove the brain. Once an ullagon has extracted a brain, it will telepathically interrogate it before discarding it once it learns everything it wishes to know.

Otherworldly Origins. While the exact origins of ullagons are unknown, it is speculated that whatever entity manufactures them resides within the Far Realm, a place of extraplanar madness inhabited by unspeakable horrors. While most ullagons operate independently, a few have been found alongside aberrations, particularly mind flayers. The brains extracted by an ullagon can be consumed by illithids, but there is no evidence that they can create or even control these constructs.
On the rare occasions an ullagon has been destroyed, those who dismantled it have discovered a strange fleshy material inside its body. Whether this material is the remains of some creature that pilots the construct from within or simply another component, none can say.

Constructed Nature. An ullagon doesn't require air, food, drink, or sleep.

gollark: (as a job)
gollark: You know, there are quite a lot of jobs. And you can do anything which people are willing to pay (enough) for.
gollark: Maybe some people are depressed because of, I don't know, deep feelings on society, but for some it's probably just some kind of random chemical imbalance (I do not know neuroscience).
gollark: [REDACTED]
gollark: Well, most other desktop OSes. Except in software support.
