Wondrous item, legendary (requires attunement) Tie Breaker This finely-crafted tie clip gives off an aura of resilience and triumph. While attuned to and displaying this item, you automatically win any ties in which you are involved, such as an attacker meeting but not exceeding your armor class with an attack, a target meeting but not exceeding your spell save DC, ties for initiative with one or more other creatures, a tie of a Wisdom (Insight) check vs. a Charisma (Deception) check, &c. Non-Overlapping If two or more creatures come into a tie, and two or more of them are each wearing a Tiebreaker's Clip, the effects of all clips involved cancel out and normal rules of play take precedence until the tie or ties are resolved. |
