The thoqqua is a four to five foot long worm-like creature with a head shaped like that of a drill. It spends its days tunneling deep in the earth spinning its body and generating heat as it does so. Although not carnivorous or hostile in nature, the thoqqua will attack anything that threatens it or its eating grounds. This is probably why miners deep under the ground are commonly attacked by small groups of them.
