Wondrous Item(Gauntlets), artifact (Requires attunement with a Monk)

In the age of the Giants one hero arose to defeat the Giants and throw them off their lofty thrones. First he learned the lessons of all of the Master martial artists. He was not impressed by any but one. The Master of Wing Chun, the only one able to defeat him. He stayed at the Masters shack for months trying to learn enough to defeat the Giants. One year later the Master took the Champion to a cave and revealed herself to be a Mystic Owlbear. The Champion then learned all about the psyonic arts and knew how to grow to giant size. The Champion left the hut and went to defeat the Giants. First he fought the Hill Jotuns and took some of their mud. next the Fire Jotuns and made them forge the mud into Gauntlets. Next to the Stone to have them carve runes of Power into them. Next to the Frost to make them indestructible. Then to the Cloud to make them light as cloud. Lastly he fought the Storm and had the Gauntlets be made electrical. He then challenged at the Jotuns to a fight and defeated them all and became the Master of Giants and top of the Ording.

When you where and are attuned to the Gauntlets, your Dexterity becomes 24 unless it is already more than thirty. Also your unarmed attacks deal 1d12 damage. In addition your unarmed attacks are treated as +3 weapons. All of your Monk weapon attacks deal an extra 1d4 lightning damage. Also whenever you use the flurry of blows Monk ability you do three extra attacks not two.
Random Properties. The The Giants Fury has the following random properties:

  • 3 minor beneficial properties
  • 1 major beneficial property
  • 2 minor detrimental properties
  • 1 major detrimental property



Destroying the The Giants Fury. If any Jotun Monk ever attunes to the Gauntlets, they choose yes or no. If they choose yes the Gauntlets are fine. If they choose no, the Gauntlets are destroyed
