The Egg of Lolth (4e Equipment)
The egg of lolth is a potent artifact with a long history. It was once a cursed item which compelled its owner into the abyss, it absorbed much arachane power when it came under the posession of Lolth. Now it is a gateway into the demonweb which can bve used to call spiders to the material plane. The egg of Lolth is a unique implement which, when obtained, is level 3. Increasing it in level is worth the amount of gold pieces shown above, and can be given in place of that amount of treasure.
