Weilder's will. The Sword Spirit's ability scores increase by its wielder's ability modifiers for each respective stat.

Weilder's weakness. The Sword spirit is proficient in a number of skills equal to its Intelligence modifier, with its proficiency bonus matching its original wielder's. It cannot be proficient in skills its wielder is proficient in.

Undying Soul.' If a Sword Spirit's HP drops below 0, it does not die, but instead returns to its weapon of origin and becomes inactive for 6 days.

ACTIONS

'Check: The sword spirit makes a skill check. Its proficiency bonus is the same as its wielder's.

VARIANTS

Lesser Sword Spirit

Created by mages, magic users or magical phenomena, a Lesser Sword Spirit can only inhabit one weapon. It cannot manifest a physical form, but it can speak to its wielder through telepathy.

Greater Sword Spirit

Often crated by powerful spellcasters or incredible feats of power and magic, Greater Sword Spirits are still only able to inhabit one weapon. However, they are able to posses a physical form that appears and disappears from the blade.

Master Sword Spirit

Created by Gods, Goddesses or magical feats of staggering power, a Master Sword Spirit can inhabit multiple weapons, though it can only inhabit one at a time and generally prefers to inhabit a specific weapon. They are also able to assume a physical form.
