Subsonic Bullets (10) (5e Equipment)

Any modern firearm which uses bullets for its ammunition can fire subsonic bullets. Subsonic bullets are 20%-25% heavier than regular bullets of the same caliber, and thus are unable to attain velocities capable of breaking the sound barrier.

Much like the effect of using a suppressor, if you make a firearm attack with that uses subsonic bullets while you are hidden, you do not automatically give away your location. However, on a hit, subsonic bullets inflict -1 points of damage per die.
