Wondrous item, legendary

A mask made for medium humanoids that reacts to the blood of the sacrificed. The mask is made of some kind of stone.

I reject my humanity! When worn and exposed to any amount of blood, the person wearing it will instantly be impaled by several spines that stab into the wearer's brain. After up to 3 minutes, the creature will be resurrected, gaining the 1st level features of the Stone Mask Vampire class, and their type becomes undead. With the DM’s consent, they may replace their previous levels with levels in the same class. Your alignment becomes evil.
