Soldier of Decay

A Soldier of Decay is a warrior that uses necromantic magic to boost their strength. They are extremely powerful and only the strongest of people can harness their power. Their power come with a great cost however. Soldiers of Decay all bear the symbol of their dark powers, and people fear them because of how evil looking they are. Plagued One

Starting at level 1, you have become extremely resistant to disease. You have resistance to poison damage, and immunity to the effect, and you have advantage on all constitution saving throws against disease. But, the maximum age that you can live up to is halved.

Fighting Style

At level 2, you can choose a fighting style that suits your character. Choose from defense, Dueling, Two handed Weapons, And Dual wielding.

Dark Endurance

Starting at level 2, you can call upon necromantic powers to shield you from danger. On your turn you can take a bonus action to use this ability. You then gain a +3 to your armor class until the end of your next turn. Once you use this, you must complete a short or long rest to use it again.

The Rot

At level 3, you can spread your contagion to others. You can take an action to spread the rot to another creature of your choice within 30ft. To spread the rot, your target must be below their hp maximum. The target then takes damage equal to your level, and becomes infected. While infected, every turn the creature takes 1d12 necrotic damage. This increases to 2d12 at 6th level, then 3d12 at 13th level, and 4d12 at 17th level. The infection lasts for 1 round + half your level. (Rounded down). Only one creature can be infected at a time.

Ability Score Increase

When you reach level 4, and again at levels 8, 12, 16, and 19, you can increase one ability score by 2, or two ability scores by 1. You cannot increase above 20 with this.

Soul Clash

At level 4, you gain the ability to take some of your life energy, and use it to bolster your power. On your turn, you can take a bonus action to take damage equal to your level. Then, you deal additional necrotic damage equal to double your level with your next attack. Once you use this, you must complete a short or long rest to use it again.

Extra Attack

At level 5, and again at level 9, you can attack one extra time on your turn.

Dark Servant

At level 7, you can cast animate dead 2/day.

Deadly Constitution

At level 9, your constitution increases by 2, and you can add it's modifier to your damage rolls in addition to anything else.

Life Thief

At level 12, you gain the ability to drain the life from other creatures. On your turn, you can take an action to deal 3d12 necrotic damage to another creature within 30ft. Then, you are healed by an amount equal to the damage dealt.

Shrouded Form

At level 14, you are clouded in dark mist. Other creatures have disadvantage to hit you with a non magical attack.

Unleash Soul

At level 17, you can travel to and from the astral plane at will.

Rotten Demise

At level 20, when you die, 6 zombies rise from the ground 5 ft away from you to attack the creature that killed you. When they succeed, they are pulled back into the ground, and you become stable. Once you use this, you must finish a long rest to use it again. While the zombies live, you do not need to make death saves.
