Soldiers

A swift-moving Heartless that attacks its prey with a spin kick.
—Jiminy's Journal

Physical Description

A common Soldier heartless

Soldiers have a much more refined appearance than Shadows, appearing as a noble knight-type warrior at first glance. A closer examination reveals the Soldiers are just as beastly as the other Heartless. Their muscular forms are clad in a bluish-black body suit bearing the Heartless emblem and purple inverted emblems trimmed in gold on the knees. They wear black, silver trimmed shoes that end in spiral toes, silver wristbands, and a silver knight's helm decorated with two angular, eye-like spirals on the front and a yellow stripe at the base of the curled silver plume. Its true Heartless behavior comes out on a close examination of their fierce blue and red-tipped claws, and their shadowed faces with bright yellow eyes and toothy maw.

History

The Heartless are physical, living manifestations of the darkness within people's hearts. They manifest in two forms; "Pureblood" and the artificially created "Emblem" Heartless. Soldiers are emblem heartless.

Society

Heartless, as they seek and consume hearts, desire to return to the greatest heart, the heart of all worlds, Kingdom Hearts, that resides deep within the Realm of Darkness. And because of this, Heartless seek immense darkness, enough to completely consume the Realm of Light. The entryway into this place of great power is the Door to Darkness, the door that separates the realm of light and the realm of darkness. Heartless hardly ever gather together to form a civilization, let alone even gather the energy to think, save for one special case.

Neoshadow Names

Soldiers, along with other Heartless, do not bear birth names, as they do not find them necessary. However, they could be given a nickname by someone else.
